Your Success is our Goal!
     The average black bear in our area is approximately 275 lb.  with many in the 300+ range.  Our largest bear taken was 440 lb.  and our color faze is approximately 10% that varies from very blonde to a chocolate brown.  

     We guide for each hunter personally, which means we expect each and every one of hunters to see bear.  What the hunter does with that opportunity is entirely up to him.  Many of our hunters have seen as many as 17 bear during the week of their hunt.  However, realistically speaking most hunters will see anywhere from one to six bear.  

     With our expectations so high so is our hunters success.  We have several groups that hunt with us annually.  Many are trophy hunters and will pass up on smaller bear as they are looking for that 400+.

     Our hunts run for seven days and you are required to bring your own tree stand.  Once at the resort  you will be given orientation by the guide with complete instructions regarding your baited site such as;  what techniques that have been working, how much to bait and what to bait with.  
     You will then be taken to where the bait is located in our area.  If you are looking for an outfitter that will work for you to make your hunt the most memorable then Wawang Lake Resort is the place to be.      We operate a first class operation and come very highly recommended.

Each of our units are fully equipped for housekeeping.  Complete with fridges, 4 burner countertop stoves (some with ovens), 
Indoor plumbing &  forced air furnaces.  Fully stocked cupboards with dishes, Cooking and eating utensils. 
Carpeted living-rooms and open concept kitchens are sure to make your wilderness trip more comfortable.

 Boat / Motor & Docking
Resort boats & Motors are rented as a unit only starting Saturdays.  Guests will be charged for boats & motors reserved and not 
utilized upon arrival.  Guests renting boats and/or motors without a guide are responsible for any/all damages.

Minimum  Cabin  Occupancy  POLICY
Group will be placed in unit according to number of people in their party.  Groups arriving with less than number of people reserved will be charged for the minimum unit occupancy.  It is advisable to inform us of any changes in number of people in the group in order that we may move the group into a unit appropriate to group size and to avoid extra costs on your part.  Please bring all bedding, toilet paper, and, cooking and eating utensils.  Absolutely NO early arrivals.  Check in 12:00 pm  Check out 9:00 am
